It says the microphone is blocked

Open your device Settings → Privacy → Microphone and allow Stage Key. On iPhone and iPad the App asks once at first launch; if you tapped "Don't Allow", this is the only way to change it.

It shows the wrong key

Major and relative-minor keys share the same notes (G major and E minor, for example) — the App picks the one the bass and the melody lean on, and shows the other as "relative". Give it a few bars; the key vote gets steadier the longer a song runs. Press Reset when a new song starts so the last one doesn't drag the vote.

The chords lag or flicker

Stage Key waits until a chord has been heard steadily for a moment before committing it. On a very loud stage, moving the device away from the drums and closer to the bass amp or a monitor helps a lot.

Does it record me?

No. Audio is analysed on the device and never stored or sent anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.
