Terms of Service

By downloading or using the Stage Key app ("the App") you agree to these terms with Hersey Social Ltd ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What the App is

Stage Key is a listening aid for musicians. It estimates the key, chords and progression of music it hears. These are estimates produced by signal analysis in a noisy environment; they can be wrong, late or incomplete, and you should use your own judgement on stage.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the rules of the store you obtained it from.

Acceptable use

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App, or use it in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others. You are responsible for complying with any rules of the venue you use it in.

Ownership

The App, its name, design and code are owned by Hersey Social Ltd and protected by intellectual-property law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

No warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hersey Social Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the App — including a missed chord on stage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and termination

We may update the App or these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. We may withdraw the App from the stores at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
